35 years.

Thirty-five years ago to this exact day my parents made the biggest, yet best decision ever; to marry eachother for eternity. For this one time, I am forever thankful that my Dad was so persistent with my Mom.  My Mom was previously engaged to another man when my Dad met her, but soon enough with his overly charming smile, loud personality, sense of humor, and not to mention that he could burp the whole alphabet won my mom's heart in no time. They have been happily married for 35 years with 6 children and 11 grand kids later. If that right there isn't an amazing accomplishment, then I don't know what is. Not only are my parents incredible to all their kids, but to eachother as well.  They truly are an amazing example; an example of true love.

I owe my life to these two spectacular individuals, and words can't express how thankful I am that that they chose ME to be their daughter up in heaven. I wouldn't be where I am today without such great influences in my life and all the support they have given me.  I am not lucky, but I am blessed. Mom, I hope I can become HALF the women you are someday; you have shown me to be strong, powerful and determined.  Dad, I only hope I can find my prince-charming that resembles my Daddy; you have shown me compassion, laughter, and love. You guys have shown me how a real marriage should be and I know that we are together forever.
